Recently, I became a victim of a back stabber...a back stabber that was a "friend" that read my old blog (from the sidelines lurking in) then felt the need that she go and run to tell people whatever the issue was. In this case, I received a nasty email that basically lead me to close off all ties to the social media world. Where I thought I could post my opinions and feelings, actually was turning into something more.
I did a nice farewell and moments later, I was bombarded with messages and emails...sweet messages and emails. I was so touched to see the friends that actually read and comment on my blog and Facebook telling me to stay strong, don't give up and don't run away from it all. Be the bigger person and move on.
I decided to do just that - I have a list of people that are allowed to read this blog, and I have refrained myself from posting on social media. I will keep all comments to myself. This person will not bring me down.
Like Taylor Swift says "haters gonna hate, hate, hate" - and that's what they will do! They have nothing better than to make everyone else's life miserable, but not me! Not now!
This email went on to project that I know nothing about volunteering and that is what hurt the most...I devote all my spare time to volunteering.
- Volunteer to be a Sunday School Teacher
- Volunteer to bake goodies and food for Church events
- Volunteer on almost every school activity / outing
- President of Home and School Committee
- Volunteer by making a Christmas Dinner for the school
- Volunteer by making cupcakes for teachers and staff for appreciation
- Volunteer to organize events at our library
- Volunteer to do Zumba activities at the school (and after school)
- Volunteer in the Community by face painting or coordinating activities
- I am trying to get the attention of needing a daycamp in our community
- I distribute information for our school and community to get involvement
- I devote 3 months of solid planning for a successful Craft Sale
