- I felt a little excited and proud when I announced that our little school of 75 kids was chosen as one of 150 recipients to receive 1,000 red and white tulips to be planted for Canada's 150th birthday...this is important to me because:
1. it will beautify the school
2. it will beautify our town
3. we are the only ones in the area
4. we get to invite important people to attend
5. we will be known on media
- I finally figured out how to watch This Is Us on CTV Go App
- We had meals prepared ahead of time all week
- My neighbour introduced me to putting everything in the crockpot wrapped in foil...no liquid and it makes me wanna cook in the crockpot every day. I take a pork tenderloin lets say, I lay it on a big piece of foil, put olive oil, cut onions, spices and then I wrap it up, place in crockpot and cook on low for 8 hours. When we get home, meat is super tender and juicy and really, no mess to clean up. Who knew!
- We received Girl Guide cookies and luckily a lot of people like the mint (we do not) and we are selling them fast.
- I have been organizing a family photo shoot for this Sunday as a fundraiser for our school...at the beginning of this week, I thought of cancelling it, but we ended up with 11 families
- I get paid
- I searched Halloween costume ideas...
- I have been having horrible sleeps every second night
- I had a PB and Jam sandwich every day
- our power went out (and realized that because I am a Scentsy obsessor, I do not have candles at home...and well, Scentsy don't work in a power outage)
- killed two spiders, one on my car window and one on my bedroom wall
- bought my first Christmas gift
Happy Weekend Folks!
