Friday I left work early, ran and did groceries and then headed home so that we could be somewhat prepared for hockey. Well that didn't work out as good as planned. I ran to the school to set up for our movie night and well I had some technical difficulties. Eventually I got everything up and running then just ordered food and then we headed to hockey. Tanner is getting so good at skating, it's pretty amazing. Tonight was their picture night so it will be cute to get his first hockey pics!
After hockey, we stopped in at the school to see how things were going at the Movie Night and everything was good. I wasn't sure if the kids would actually sit still but it was going really good. The movie of the night was Hotel Transylvania.
Saturday we were up early. I threw stuff in the crockpot to make a stew and then we were packing up and heading to hockey again. Once we got home, we were all pretty pooped and went for a nap. Eventually I dragged myself out of bed, cleaned up outside and put some things away for the winter. Nothing else really happened Saturday...until around 9:30 pm when the flu hit.
To say it was an absolute mess was an understatement. As some of you know, Maddy has a phobia of being sick and puking...so when she puked...she let er go...from the top bunk, with me underneath. I was covered from head to toe...there was puke literally everywhere, right down to covering the curtains. I cannot stand puke (who can really I guess) so I had to clean everything, re-arrange beds, and kids all the while covered in puke. After everything was relatively cleaned up (for the night anyways) - Tanner and I headed to Maddy's bed and she slept with Ricky. She continued to puke throughout the night but luckily, in the pail.
Sunday morning we got up and well, because of Maddy sick, we decided to skip out on Church. My day was basically disinfecting and laundry. Knowing that I was going to have to stay home with her today, Tanner and I headed to the city to grab my things. The rest of the day was cooking chili, watching Fuller House and cleaning.
How was your weekend?
